Dejima Names Adam Cheyer New Vice President of Engineering; Company Moves to Strengthen Executive Team With Recognized Technology Pioneer.

Dejima, Inc., developer of direct access software solutions for the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) An integrated information system that is used to plan, schedule and control the presales and postsales activities in an organization.  and Mobile markets, today announced that the company has named Adam Cheyer as its new vice president of Engineering. Cheyer has been an advisor to Dejima on technology and business issues since 1999 and brings over 15 years of experience in research and commercial environments in the areas of applied artificial intelligence, advanced human computer interfaces and distributed computing (1) The use of multiple computers networked throughout a wide geographical area, or the world via the Internet, in order to solve a single problem. As vice president of Engineering, Cheyer will be responsible for managing Dejima's engineering staff and guiding the company's technology development. Cheyer joins Dejima from his most recent positions as VP of Engineering and VP of Advanced Technology at Verticalnet. While at Verticalnet, Cheyer led development for the enterprise products group, whose eXtended enterprise management (XEM XEM New Richmond, Quebec, Canada - New Richmond / via Rail Service (Airport Code) ) applications provide unmatched visibility into critical data, allowing organizations to communicate and collaborate more effectively across the extended value chain.
