(Nasdaq:CWLD), a a leading business integration software provider, today announced that Degussa AG, a worldwide leader in specialized chemical products, will utilize CrossWorlds' business process integration solutions in a pilot project to interconnect with the Elemica Marketplace. CrossWorlds will enable Degussa to leverage their e-business presence by increasing the data flow and optimizing the procurement The fancy word for "purchasing." In the first phase of the pilot project, CrossWorlds will integrate Degussa's SAP applications with the eHub Elemica to support the industry standard data format ChemXML.
