The film Sophie Scholl Sophia Magdalena Scholl (May 9, 1921 - February 22, 1943) was a prominent member of the White Rose non-violent resistance movement in Nazi Germany. She was convicted of treason after having been found distributing anti-war leaflets at the University of Munich with her brother Hans. : The Final Days, by Marc Rothemund, covers the last six days of Scholl's life after she and her brother--both members of the nonviolent anti-Nazi group White Rose--are arrested for treason treason, legal term for various acts of disloyalty.
