Definition 6 Hires Consulting Expert Clay K. Williams to Broaden Partnerships with Microsoft, Equifax and Others.

Definition 6, a leading Application Infrastructure Provider (AIP) offering layered e-commerce and communication solutions for large companies with networked affiliates, announced today that Clay K. Williams will join its executive team as a vice president, creating strategic business units centered around key partnerships with companies like Microsoft and Equifax.

Williams most recently spent four years with Nexgenix Inc., an e-relationship solutions supplier that offers relationship marketing with best-of-breed technology solutions. He served as the company's Southeast regional director from 1998-2000, supervising all aspects of its regional consulting practice, including full profit and loss management, e-business project delivery, pre-sales support, recruiting and staff development and training. Williams raised revenue rates by half, established several strategic partnerships with leading Internet technology product vendors and directed the sale and successful delivery of projects involving e-business, customer relationship management, data warehousing and client/server technologies.

Williams also worked for Nexgenix as a managing associate from 1996-1998, overseeing project management and pre-sales support of Web-enabled, client/server and object-oriented business application implementation projects.

Prior to joining Nexgenix, Williams served as both a manager and senior consultant for Atlanta-based Deloitte & Touche, a leading account, tax and consulting firm that develops powerful worldwide business solutions.

Williams earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating with honors in 1985. He returned to Tech for his Master of Science in Management. Williams, certified in production and inventory management, also belongs to the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).
