To accelerate the plan, Defense Technology recently acquired a majority interest in an established defense engineering firm with 20 years of experience and a portfolio of proprietary technologies. Through acquisition, Defense Technology has trailing twelve month revenue of $5 million. Management has plans to build a Homeland Security product portfolio through acquisition that could add substantial annual revenue through potential acquisitions currently under negotiation.

Vice Admiral Blackwell has extensive background in South America. Following a Naval career that began in 1952, Vice Admiral Blackwell has been a consultant to the marine industry with an emphasis on computer cargo and control systems. He is a graduate of Britannia Royal Naval College There have been various Royal Naval Colleges throughout British and Commonwealth naval history:
  • The Royal Naval Academy in Portsmouth (1733-1837) - renamed the Royal Naval College in 1806
  • The Royal Naval College, Greenwich (1873-1998)
 where his education centered on Strategic Studies, Naval Technology and Marine Sciences (Environmental).
