The DAB, which reviews DoD programs to ensure they are ready to transition from one program phase to the next, found no issues with the proposed SADARM Production Program. Under the proposed production plan, the U.S. Army will award prime contractor Aerojet and its partner Alliant Techsystems a contract for the first LRP in FY 1995. The U.S. Army expects to build more than 70,000 SADARM projectiles over the life of the program. The Army System Acquisition Review Council (ASARC ASARC Air Suspension Automatic Ride Control ASARC American Society of Anesthesiologists Resident Component ASARC Army Systems Acquisition Review Council/Committee ASARC Applied Snow & Avalanche Research Centre (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) ) recommended that the program proceed to the DAB after its Jan. 13 review. The ASARC is composed of top Army managers and reviews and recommends appropriate actions on major Army programs prior to the DAB.
