Chinese Communist regime has been employing increasingly sophisticated technologies to filter, block, monitor and mislead Internet users in China. They employed a variety of tricky measures that dwarf the wiliest hackers in the world. They intercept and analyze all Internet traffic Internet traffic is the flow of data around the Internet. It includes web traffic, which is the amount of that data that is related to the World Wide Web, along with the traffic from other major uses of the Internet, such as electronic mail and peer-to-peer networks.  going out of their border; they mis-direct users to black-holes when users try to access censored websites; and they cut off users ongoing connections when their great firewall sniffs any words that are on their long blacklist (1) A list of e-mail addresses of known spammers. Internet users in China have been rambling to defeat such an ever-present threat. They have used various tools to evade the censorship. However, all the tools so far only protect a specific kind of traffic, such as web browsing or email traffic, while leaving other communication, such as instant messaging Exchanging text messages in real time between two or more people logged into a particular instant messaging (IM) service. Instant messaging is more interactive than e-mail because messages are sent immediately, whereas e-mail messages can be queued up in a mail server for seconds or , unprotected, due to the limitations of the exiting technologies in these tools.

FirePhoenix is the cure-all privacy protection tool. The underlying technology breakthroughs make FirePhoenix an ever effective tool to protect the online safety and freedom of Chinese users. It helps users in China to enjoy the whole Internet (which is otherwise strongly censored) freely and securely. Its proprietary distributed communication system makes it impossible to be traced or blocked. FirePhoenix poses itself as the ultimate penetration of the Great Firewall, and will render all the hacking efforts by the Communist regime useless.

"We share the same vision as The Global Online Freedom Act passed unanimously in the US Congress in June 2006," stated Dr. Jason Ma, vice president of WGI, "our technology will help users not only in mainland China, but also under other authoritarian regimes including Belarus, Cuba, Ethiopia, Iran, Laos, North Korea, Tunisia, and Vietnam, thanks to the borderless nature of Internet."
