John Deere has donated $25,000 to support the work of the Evergreen Foundation, a nonprofit organization Nonprofit Organization

An association that is given tax-free status. Donations to a non-profit organization are often tax deductible as well.

Notes:
Examples of non-profit organizations are charities, hospitals and schools.
 that encourages greenways Greenways is a set of three short atmospheric piano works composed by John Ireland in 1937; entitled The Cherry Tree, Cypress and The Palm and May.  and the development of a national greenway system.

Endorsing the move, Greg Doherty, manager of division support for John Deere Worldwide, said: "The national greenways vision provides an appropriate mission for our industry. It fosters an appreciation of green space, and it encourages industrywide in·dus·try·wide
