The museum was opened in October 2003, funded by Raymond Nasher, and designed by architect Renzo Piano. , George Michael's longtime boyfriend, Dallas native Kenny Goss n. 1. Gorse. , opened a 3,200-square-foot gallery featuring the work of megawatt art stars such as David LaChapelle and Richmond Burton. Located in the city's Uptown neighborhood, Goss Gallery (2500 Cedar Springs Rd., 214-696-0555) debuted May 19 after Michael flew in from London. "Both Kenny and I love contemporary art and we wanted a gallery that would take the Dallas art scene to a whole new level," says Michael. New paintings by Burton, who worked with I.M. Pei on the Pyramid de Louvre Louvre (l `vrə), foremost French museum of art, located in Paris. The building was a royal fortress and palace built by Philip II in the late 12th cent. , are on display from September 9 through October 10.
