A normal day projection for this territory is approximately 705,652 DTH. KeySpan provides natural gas service to 155 communities in Eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire New Hampshire, one of the New England states of the NE United States. It is bordered by Massachusetts (S), Vermont, with the Connecticut R. forming the boundary (W), the Canadian province of Quebec (NW), and Maine and a short strip of the Atlantic Ocean (E). .

In Brooklyn, natural gas demand came close this weekend to breaking last year's January 23 record high. On Saturday, Brooklyn hit the sixth highest sendout in its history at 1,074,890 DTH. This was close to last year's January 23 record sendout of 1,086,503 DTH. On a typical day in January, customers in this area usually consume an approximate 800,000 DTH of natural gas. KeySpan provides natural gas service to the boroughs of Brooklyn, Staten Island and Queens.

Gas usage is measured on a 24-hour basis, from 10 a.m. to 10 a.m. Long-term contracts and stored gas provide customers with reliable supplies at market-sensitive prices. KeySpan receives its gas supplies from the Gulf Coast and Western Canada.
