Deduction of duty on import of fabric to Turkey demanded : Dr. Baig.ISLAMABAD, October 28, 2009 (Balochistan Times): Federal Advisor on Textile, Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig took up issue of higher reference price on import of Pakistani fabric by Turkish customs at Pak-Turk CEOs forum. Dr. Baig explained that the customs authorities in Turkey are not accepting declared invoice value of our exporters for customs duty customs duty: see tariff. purpose, instead they are charging duties on higher value than the declared in the invoice, making Pakistani fabric more expensive.
