Decisionmark Collaborates With BroadLogic to Support Digital TV Broadcasting On the PC.

Decisionmark Corporation and BroadLogic Network Technologies have joined forces in the interest of promoting digital TV on the PC, via Decisionmark's digital television (DTV (Digital TeleVision) Transmitting TV using digital signals. The major DTV standards are ATSC (North America), DVB (Europe) and ISDB (Japan). All three use MPEG-2 video compression and Dolby Digital audio compression. In return, Decisionmark will aggregate BroadLogic's data on signal area maps to track emerging demand for DTV broadcasts. Part of Decisionmark's overall strategy to accelerate the acceptance of DTV includes helping broadcasters across the nation gauge interest in their digital TV signal.

TitanTV.com is helping to bridge the gap from analog to digital television acceptance by providing the DTV availability information a consumer needs in order to make an educated DTV purchase decision. Specifically, TitanTV.com provides a list of local digital channels that can be received at the consumer's exact household location.
