(OTCBB OTCBB See OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB). : AFFI) today announced that the company's patent licensing subsidiary, decisioning.com, Inc., has entered into a settlement agreement with an institution that formerly maintained a system permitting consumers to apply for credit cards over the Internet. The agreement relates to the company's financial account patent (U.S. Patent No. 6,105,007) and provides for a one-time payment to decisioning.com to settle an infringement dispute regarding credit card transactions processed by the institution during periods occurring prior to the agreement. More specific terms with respect to the agreement were not disclosed because of confidentiality provisions contained in the agreement.
