Death-culture awards at Oscars.


Hollywood -- Two notable winners of the 2005 Academy Awards were for movies which actively promote euthanasia. The award for best movie, best director, and best actress went to Million Dollar Baby which showed the "compassionate homicide" of the leading actress--a paralyzed par·a·lyze

2. To make unable to move or act: paralyzed by fear.
 female boxer, played by Hilary Swank. Her killer, played by director Clint Eastwood, was portrayed as a troubled but sincere Catholic and daily Mass attendee.

The best foreign film went to a Spanish movie, The Sea Inside. It was based on the real-life case of the struggle of a quadriplegic quadriplegic /quad·ri·ple·gic/ (-ple´jik)
1. of, pertaining to, or characterized by quadriplegia.

2. an individual with quadriplegia.

Both movies have been recognized by advocates for the disabled as soft sells on euthanasia, and disrespectful dis·re·spect·ful
