I'M confused about my sexual orientation sexual orientation

. I am a 19-year-old girl at university. Although I meet a lot of good-looking boys, I'm not attracted to any of them.

I think they're handsome and cool but I never get that butterflies-in-the-stomach feeling my friends describe to me. At the same time, I'm pretty sure I am not a lesbian. I don't fancy women either.

Is there something wrong with me? I've read about some people being asexual asexual /asex·u·al/ (a-sek´shoo-al) having no sex; not sexual; not pertaining to sex.

ALTHOUGH a sexuals are uninterested in sex, many are interested in pursuing romantic or intimate non-sexual relationships, while others prefer to remain single.

Please don't diagnose diagnose /di·ag·nose/ (di´ag-nos) to identify or recognize a disease.

 and label yourself. You just may have not met the right person yet. Real life isn't like films, where the hero and heroine are carried away on a tide of passion at the first encounter. Sexuality is a matter of degree and no two people are exactly alike. Give it a little more time and, if you still feel something is missing, discuss it with your doctor.
