Deanne puts her work scenes in the frame.AS A recreation ranger for Forestry Commission The Forestry Commission (established in 1919) is a non-ministerial Government Department responsible for forestry in Great Britain. Its mission is to protect and expand Britain's forests and woodlands and increase their value to society and the environment. Wales, Deanne Mizen''s job takes her to some of the most beautiful places in north Wales. Now, she has used her artistic skills to capture those scenes on canvas. Two of Deanne''s paintings are currently on display at the FC Wales visitor centre at Coed-y-Brenin, near Dolgellau, as part of an autumn art exhibition showcasing the work of a group of contemporary artists living in Gwynedd. Deane''s paintings are called Rhaeadr Du, named after waterfalls in the deciduous deciduous /de·cid·u·ous/ (de-sid´u-us) falling off or shed at maturity, as the teeth of the first dentition. de·cid·u·ous adj. 1. woodlands of Ganllwyd, and Dol Gain (first light), looking across farm and moorland moor·land n. "Rhaeadr Du is a place I often send visitors, especially now as the colours of autumn are starting to show," said Deanne. The exhibition runs until October 2. Other artists include Wendy Murphy, Sonja Benskin Mesher, Ian Phillips, Lavinia Range, Mihangel Jones, Valerie Land and Jean Napier.
