Dean & DeLuca, the gourmet specialty food retailer, will open a new espresso bar at 75 University Place in The Albert, a residential building on the corner of 11th Street. Rockrose Development Corporation, which developed and converted the cooperative apartment building, made the announcement. Beginning this winter, Dean & DeLuca will occupy 2,200 square feet-in what was once the grand, elegant dining room of the former Hotel Albert.
