G.E. Real Estate and Trizec Properties Inc. announced that both companies have closed a $5 billion deal to buy Arden Ar·den  

An unincorporated city of north-central California, a residential suburb of Sacramento. Population: 101,400.

 Inc. The General Electric Co. subsidiary is shelling out $4.8 billion, including the assumption of $1.6 billion in debt, for Arden Realty, the largest publicly traded owner of Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region,  office buildings. In connection to the deal, Trizec is paying $1.6 billion for 13 Arden buildings comprising 4 million square feet, including 5670 Wilshire Not to be confused with Wiltshire.
