Deal Closed: Kidney dialysis Dialysis, Kidney Definition

Dialysis treatment replaces the function of the kidneys, which normally serve as the body's natural filtration system.
 center owner DaVita Inc. completed its $3.1 billion acquisition of the U.S. health care unit of Sweden's Gambro AB. The Federal Trade Commission is requiring El Segundo-based DaVita to divest To deprive or take away.

Divest is usually used in reference to the relinquishment of authority, power, property, or title. If, for example, an individual is disinherited, he or she is divested of the right to inherit money.
 70 of its 706 outpatient facilities as a condition of approving the deal. DaVita had plans to divest 67 centers within 10 days of the close and another three centers within 60 days.
