Deadline Extended to April 11th to Submit Art for ``Into the Pixel'' Digital Game Art Exhibition at E3Expo.
WHAT: "Into the Pixel" is a juried exhibition of computer and
video game art curated by experts in the interactive
entertainment industry and the traditional art field. The
Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3Expo) is co-producing "Into
the Pixel" with The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences and
The Graphic Arts Council of the Los Angeles County Museum of
Art.
WHEN: The deadline for submissions extended to Monday, April 11,
9AM (Eastern)
"Into the Pixel" 2005 will kick off with a Gallery Opening and
art unveiling reception sponsored by Spike TV on Wednesday,
May 18, at 5:30 p.m. The ITP Gallery will remain open during
E3Expo show hours on May 19 and 20.
WHO: "Into the Pixel" will be accessible to the general public as
well as to the more than 60,000 interactive entertainment
industry executives, designers, developers, animators,
journalists and retailers who attend E3Expo.
PLEASE NOTE:
E3Expo is a trade event, and is not open to the general
public. No one under 18 will be admitted, including infants.
This policy is strictly enforced.

ELIGIBILITY/DEADLINE:
Art submissions must be taken from published, or soon to be
published, computer and video games. Entry for "Into the
Pixel" is open to Academy members and E3Expo exhibiting
companies. Artists may submit up to three original works.
Deadline is April 11, 2005, at 9:00 a.m. (Eastern Daylight
Time). Artists should consult www.intothepixel.com for
detailed information and to submit their art.
