Deadline Approaches to Submit Nominations for the 2007 TIAA-CREF Distinguished Medical Educator Award.Winner to be recognized with $10,000 cash and museum honors HOUSTON -- January 15, 2007 is the last day to submit nominations for the statewide 2007 TIAA-CREF TIAA-CREF Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association - College Retirement Equities Fund Distinguished Medical Educator Award (www.tiaa-crefaward.org), honoring Texas' leading medical educators. The award, given annually, honors teaching physicians, nurses and other health care professionals who excel in influencing the lives of future leaders in innovation, discovery and patient care. The appointed steering committee is looking for candidates who have strong medical education credentials, are highly regarded and have impacted medical education in the state of Texas.
