Dead man, 35, named.


A MAN who died after being arrested has been identified as Leigh John Roberts, nearly a month after his death.

The 35-year-old died in hospital on April 23 after South Wales Police South Wales Police (Welsh: Heddlu De Cymru) is one of the four Home Office police forces in Wales. Its headquarters are based in Bridgend.  were called to a disturbance at Whitefield Road, Llandaff North Llandaff North (Welsh: Ystum Taf), is part of Cardiff, the capital city of Wales. It is located in the north of Cardiff and can be considered a two part ward, each containing about half the population; a northern section of mainly middle-class housing, and a southern , Cardiff, where the man was lodging. When officers arrived they found the man being restrained by others in the property. It is understood police handcuffed him and led him outside. But he collapsed minutes later.

An inquest into Mr Roberts' death will take place on October 1.
