DeCrane Subsidiary Avtech Corp. Acquires SELCAL Line From Motorola.

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 1, 2000

Avtech Corp. Friday announced its acquisition of the SELCAL SELCAL Selective Calling System  product line from Motorola's Schaumburg, Ill. facility.

The transaction was officially completed Thursday Nov. 30, 2000. The acquisition of the Motorola SELCAL line along with the earlier acquisition this year of Coltech, a leading player in the industry, firmly consolidates the SELCAL market with Avtech.

To assure a seamless transition, Motorola will continue to manufacture and supply the SELCAL product line to Avtech through March 2001, when all operations and production will transfer over to Avtech's Seattle facilities. Avtech will however, immediately take over all product support and service functions for the line.
