Inhabitants is an independently developed commercial puzzle game created by S+F Software. Details
The game is based loosely on the concepts from SameGame.
 of Deep Space Nine to deal with problems caused by the Iconian gateways. This series is interesting since most of the installments are taking place simultaneously but involve different Star Trek groups (except for the first volume, which was set in the earlier time of Captain James Kirk). Colonel Kira and the Deep Space Niners are faced with the task of rescuing the inhabitants of a nearby world threatened by radioactive waste radioactive waste, material containing the unusable radioactive byproducts of the scientific, military, and industrial applications of nuclear energy. Since its radioactivity presents a serious health hazard (see radiation sickness), disposing of such material is a  that has suddenly come through a gateway.
