De-linking of pay scales of scientific workers in ISI from UGC pay scales.Byline: ANI New Delhi, Jan 15 (ANI): The Union Cabinet today considered a proposal of Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation to de-link the pay scales of scientific workers (faculty) in Indian Statistical Institute (ISI ISI International Sensitivity Index, see there ), Kolkata from the UGC pay scales. It also considered bringing them at par with those in the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Scientific workers (faculty) included professors, associate professors and assistant professors.
