De la Parra Appointed Director of Promotions and Marketing for KMEX-TV, Channel 34 and KFTR-TV Channel 46/TeleFutura.

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 30, 2002

KMEX-TV, Channel 34, the leading Spanish-language television station in the country, and TeleFutura station KFTR-TV, Channel 46 appointed Luis De la Parra La Parra is a municipality located in the province of Badajoz, Extremadura, Spain. According to the 2005 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 1425 inhabitants. Oficial Web : www.laparra.com No oficial web : www.laparra.com.  as the stations' new Director of Promotions and Marketing, it was announced today by Jorge Delgado, General Manager for both KMEX-TV and KFTR-TV.

De la Parra will be responsible for developing long-range strategic planning Strategic planning is an organization's process of defining its strategy, or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy, including its capital and people.  for new and on-going projects that enhance the brand image of KMEX-TV and KFTR-TV. De la Parra will oversee all aspects of the stations' creative services Creative Services are a subsector of the creative industries, a part of the economy that creates wealth by offering creativity for hire to other businesses. Examples include:
  • Design and Production agencies
 and television production that include marketing, promotions and special events production as well as supervise all on-air promotional and graphic efforts for both stations.

Before joining KMEX-TV, De la Parra served as Creative Services Director for Univision station WGBO-TV in Chicago for the last six years and as producer of the launch campaign for Univision Chicago from 1995 to 1996. Under his leadership, WGBO was the recipient of the 1996 Regional Emmy in the Best Special Event category. Prior to WGBO, De la Parra worked in various capacities at Televisa in Mexico City including as an Assistant Director for several of the Company's hit telenovelas
