Daytona Beach is a city in Volusia County, Florida, USA. According to 2006 U.S. Census Bureau estimates, the city has a population of 64,421.

It is a 2.5 mile (4 km) tri-oval race track facility with a seating capacity of 168,000 spectators. .

With nearly 30 challenging courses and an average annual temperature of 70.3 degrees, the Daytona Beach area is the perfect spot for year-round golfing. The area is home to two Ladies Professional Golf Association courses designed by Reese Jones and Arthur Hills Arthur Hills is a United States golf course designer who achieved a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University. .

Meetings by the numbers

With nearly 400 hotels, the Daytona Beach area has more than 14,000 guest rooms. The area's conference center, The Ocean Center, is central to the resort area and currently provides 60,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. There are plans to nearly triple this space by 2006.

The area offers more than 350,000 square feet of meeting space. The recently expanded Adam's Mark Daytona Beach Resort now offers 746 rooms and 60,000 square feet of meeting space. Located on the beach, the resort is within easy walking distance of The Ocean Center and the shops at Ocean Walk Village, a new entertainment complex with a 10-cinema theater complex, restaurants, attractions, and retail establishments.
