Dayton Superior Announces Acquisition of Conspec.

Dayton Superior Corporation today announced the completion of the acquisition of Conspec Marketing & Manufacturing Co., Inc., and its related operations.

Conspec, a privately owned company with manufacturing sites in Kansas City, Kansas Kansas City, Kansas (KCK) is the third largest city in the U.S. state of Kansas and the county seat of Wyandotte County (WyCo); it is part of the "Unified Government"[2] which also includes the cities of Bonner Springs and Edwardsville. , and Long Beach, California Long Beach is a city located in southern Los Angeles County, California, USA, on the Pacific coast. It borders Orange County on its southeast edge. It is about 20 miles (30 km) south of downtown Los Angeles. , sells construction chemicals under the Conspec and Edoco names. Its sales are approximately $22 million a year.

Dayton Superior's Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, John A. ("Chic") Ciccarelli, said, "The acquisition of Conspec, with its reputation for providing high quality chemical products to the construction industry, enhances our existing Dayton Superior chemicals business. Conspec also gives us a critical construction chemicals manufacturing presence on the West Coast. Acquisitions are a key part of Dayton Superior's growth strategy. Since 1994, we have made thirteen acquisitions, not counting Conspec."
