Days out to help health.WOMEN from ethnic minorities are being encouraged to visit heritage attractions in a bid to improve their wellbeing. It was set up under the terms of the National Heritage Act 1983. has teamed up with Newcastle Newcastle, city, Australia Newcastle, city (1991 pop. 262,331), New South Wales, SE Australia, on the Pacific Ocean. It is the center of one of the country's largest coal-mining areas and is a large port. Coal, wool, iron and steel, and wheat are exported. Primary Care Trust's Ethnic Minority Wellbeing Project to organise a programme of outings this summer to castles, gardens and beauty spots across the North East. It is hoped the trips will not only give families from a deprived area of the city the chance to enjoy the great outdoors, but will also boost their overall mental and physical well-being.
