DayTrading International Announces Investment Opinion on Various Companies.


KIRKSVILLE, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 2, 1999--

With the close of the 2nd Quarter, DayTrading International members took big profits in Yahoo Inc, Allaire Corporation Allaire Corporation was a computer software company founded by Jeremy and JJ Allaire in Minnesota, later headquartered in Cambridge, then Newton, Massachusetts. It commenced operations in May of 1995, had its initial public offering on NASDAQ (trading as ALLR) in January 1999, and , At Home Corporation, Ameritrade Holdings and Wit Capital Group.

It was called a buy at 61 1/4 and by the close of the next day was up to 70 1/4 for a 14% gain.

Members also scored some big gains with a few on-line brokerages like Ameritrade Holdings (Nasdaq: AMTD AMTD Arithmetic Mean Temperature Difference

) and the IPO (Initial Public Offering) The first time a company offers shares of stock to the public. While not a computer term per se, many founders, employees and insiders of computer companies have found this acronym more exciting than any tech term they ever heard.  Wit Capital Group (Nasdaq: WITC WITC Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College ). AMTD was called a buy on 6/2 at 74 3/4 and rocketed to 91 5/8 within the same session giving members 17 points and by the end of the month was up to 108, for a 44% gain! Another new issue, Wit Capital was called a buy at 15 7/16 on 6/24. By 6/29 the stock had risen to a high of 38 for a 22 point gain.

A few other IPO's that DayTrading International members took part in were DrKoop.com Inc. (Nasdaq: KOOP) on 6/8, GoTo.com Inc. (Nasdaq: GOTO) on 6/23, and ELoan Inc. (Nasdaq: EELN) on 6/29. They were called buys at 12 5/8, 26, and 24 respectively. KOOP went as high as 24 1/4 the following day for an 8 point gain, GOTO rose as high as 39 1/2 for a 51% gain, and EELN rocketed to a high of 51 giving members over 27 points profit in only a few hours.

DayTrading International was also bullish on At Home Corp. (Nasdaq: ATHM ATHM Excite@Home (NASDAQ symbol)

), Concentric Networks (Nasdaq: CNCX) and Allaire Corp. (Nasdaq: ALLR). They were called buys at 84 3/4, 29 3/8, and 42 1/4 respectively. Over the next few days, CNCX ran up over 5 points, ALLR gained over 26 points, and by the end of the month ATHM rose over 37 points for a 43% gain.

But the biggest winner of the month was Mail.com Inc. (Nasdaq: MAIL). DTI Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI)
