Day makes a difference.Bad boy Montgomery Brogan (Norton) is enjoying his final moments of freedom before a seven-year prison stint for possessing drugs. During an eventful 24 hours, he reminisces about his life. He wonders who tipped off the cops about his drugs stash and considers a tantalising Adj. 1. tantalising - arousing desire or expectation for something unattainable or mockingly out of reach; "a tantalizing taste of success" tantalizing inviting - attractive and tempting; "an inviting offer" 2. proposition from his father, whose business has been propped up by his son's ill-gotten funds. In the process, Monty realises what he values most in life. Norton plays his fallen chancer Chancer was a British television serial produced by Central Television for ITV. It told the story of a likeable conman and rogue (played by Clive Owen) at the end of the yuppie eighties. with pathos and tightly coiled rage. In one sequence he stares intently into a mirror venting his spleen at the world, and ultimately himself. |
