Day laborers unite.


The village of Mamaroneck, New York Mamaroneck, New York may refer to two places in the United States:
  • Mamaroneck (town), New York, a town in Westchester County
  • Mamaroneck (village), New York, a village partially within the town
 was found guilty of discriminating against Latino day laborers and has agreed to pay half a million dollars in legal fees to the workers. The town has also tentatively agreed to prohibit police from asking day laborers about their immigration immigration, entrance of a person (an alien) into a new country for the purpose of establishing permanent residence.
