Why did you wait more than a year to sign with a major label?

It may be the biggest decision you ever make [as an artist]. I was cautious about it. I wanted to keep what we were doing but make it bigger.

How do you think a fan responds to an artist who is out there constantly touring, as opposed to just releasing music?

When you feel like you discovered [an artist], it feels better. I think word of mouth is always better.
