Day's Chief Scientist Discusses JSR 170 at Premier Storage Network Event; Roy T. The San Diego Storage Networking User Group hosted an overview of this watershed new standard that simplifies the management and creation of content. Fielding is one of the core architects of JCR and discussed how a standards-based content repository approach can simplify data storage management. Fielding is responsible for guiding Day's research efforts to update the infrastructure upon which the Web is based, thereby improving the reliability and robust behavior of applications built upon that infrastructure.
