It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of -- Daxor Corporation (Amex: DXR DXR Danbury Municipal Airport, Danbury CT (airport code) DXR Data Extraction and Recording DXR X-Director DXR Dynamic Extended Resolution ) - a medical instrumentation and biotechnology company, today announced that on June 9, 2005 Daxor Corporation received an informal inquiry and comments from the SEC regarding the 2004 10K, requesting further explanation and expansion of certain information and comments that Daxor provided in various parts of the document. As a result, Daxor has been delayed in filing the second quarter 10Q for 2005 because of work necessitated to meet the requested changes from the SEC. As previously announced by Daxor Corporation on August 22, 2005, Daxor filed SEC Form 12b-25 on August 12, 2005 requesting an extension of time to file Form 10Q for the second quarter 2005. In the Form 12b-25, Daxor mistakenly requested a 15-day extension. However, 12b-25 only permits a 5-day extension for a 10Q. Based on the reformatting required by the SEC comment letter and the number of time periods involved, Daxor has been unable to file its second quarter 10Q to date. Daxor fully intends to file its June 30, 2005 10-Q by Thursday, September 1, 2005.
