Daxor Corporation, (AMEX: DXR), a medical instrumentation and biotechnology company, today announced third quarter earnings for 2006. For the nine months ended September 30, 2006 total operating revenues increased by 11.2 % to $1,151,608 from $1,035,698 in 2005. For the nine months ended September 30, 2006 cost and expenses increased by 13.1% to $ 5,192,717 from $ 4,592,841 in 2005. At September 30, 2006 the Company had total assets of $67,111,732 with stockholders' equity of $ 42,003,420 vs. total assets of $59,565,053 and $38,744,801 of stockholders' equity for December 31, 2005. In the first nine months of 2006, the company had increased income from investments which partially offset operating losses. The company is increasing its research and development efforts and expects to be filing a patent in the blood banking field before the end of 2006. The company provides the BVA-100 Blood Volume Analyzer on a trial basis with an option to purchase. Among nationally renowned hospitals and other major medical institutions which have purchased the BVA-100 after a trial period are the Mayo Clinic, The Cleveland Clinic, NIH, and New York University Medical Center. During the trial period, the Company receives income primarily from kit sales.

Daxor Corporation manufactures and markets the BVA-100, a semi-automated Blood Volume Analyzer. The BVA-100 is used in conjunction with a single use diagnostic kit.
