and Intensive Care Specialist, commented that, "The recent data concerning a measured blood volume is quite stimulating and we look forward to contributing to the growing results of the utility of blood volume analysis in the intensive care unit." Daxor's BVA-100 will reside within the nuclear medicine department, and will be utilized in diagnosing blood volume derangements in various clinical conditions, but most specifically in patients with septic shock; following coronary artery by-pass surgery; and end stage kidney dialysis patients. This will be Daxor's second BVA-100 in Hawaii and the first BVA-100 in which end stage kidney dialysis patients will benefit from a measured blood volume prior to dialysis treatment.

"End stage dialysis patients have dramatic blood volume alterations during dialysis. A measured blood volume is a logical approach to provide a more precise treatment and potentially improved clinical outcomes," noted Dr. Joseph Feldschuh, Daxor's C.E.O. and Chief Scientific Officer.

Daxor Corporation manufactures and markets the BVA-100, a semi-automated Blood Volume Analyzer. The BVA-100 is used in conjunction with a single use diagnostic kit.
