), a medical instrumentation and biotechnology company, today announced the receipt of a signed trial agreement from Schnitzler Cardiovascular Consultants of San Antonio, TX.

Dr. Robert Schnitzler, Cardiovascular Consultants' Medical Director, said, "Daxor's Blood Volume Analyzer has proven to provide a significant advantage over other methods of determining a patient's clinical volume status. Knowing a patient's volume status is particularly critical in the management of heart failure, especially when different treatment options have to be considered in patients who are anemic, volume overloaded, volume depleted, or any combination of these factors."

Dr. Schnitzler, a recognized pioneer in cardiology and a leading authority in the field of electrophysiology, was the first cardiologist in Texas to introduce Blood Volume Analysis to his heart failure patients at Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital of San Antonio. Since its introduction within cardiology, blood volume services have been extended to Southwest Texas Methodist's Transplant Hospital. Dr. Schnitzler stated that, "Based upon my clinical experience with the BVA-100 at Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital, it became apparent that patients within an outpatient practice would greatly benefit from a blood volume analysis to guide their particular therapeutic treatment."

Along with Cardiovascular Consultants' Victoria Paparelli, MSN, Clinical Cardiology, Dr. Schnitzler recently presented at the 2005 Heart Failure Society of America, "A Word Salad in the Treatment of CHF CHF
