Davis Companies acquires Campus facility in Wilton, Conn.


The Davis Companies announced that one of its affiliates has acquired a corporate campus located in Wilton, Conn. at 36-64 Danbury Road, from PE Corporation.

The 30-acre campus is located in Fairfield County Fairfield County is the name of three counties in the United States:
  • Fairfield County, Connecticut
  • Fairfield County, Ohio
  • Fairfield County, South Carolina
 on Route 7, one mile north of Exit 40A on the Merritt Park-way in Wilton. This is the fifth property The Davis Companies has purchased in the Route 7 corridor, inclwuding 187 Danbury Road, 195 Danbury Road, and 15 Old Danbury Road in Wilton and 200 Connecticut Ave. in Norwalk.

PE Corporation has occupied the property since its original construction. Following PE Corporation's sale of its analytical instruments business to EG&G last spring, it no longer needed the facility. Jeffrey H. Gage and Ed Tonnessen of Albert B. Ashforth, Inc., which was appointed exclusive agent, brokered the sale.
