SALT LAKE CITY -- Former banking and finance executive named as key decision maker for business solutions company

Davinci International, a leader in virtual offices and executive suites, today announced it has named Joseph W. Porter as chief operating officer, with responsibilities for managing the corporate organization and developing policy for the office space solutions company.

Prior to joining Davinci International, Porter served as a president and chief executive officer for First American State Bank, and vice president and division manager for First Security Bank (later purchased by Wells Fargo Bank), with responsibility for client services, information technology and commercial credit. He also served as vice president and chairman for the micro technology group of First Security Corp.

In addition to his more than 30 years of executive business, banking and technology management experience, Porter has also worked as a private business consultant, and has served as chief financial officer and chief information officer for several small and medium-sized companies during the past eight years.
