DEFIANT Ton boss Davie Irons vowed to silence the boo-boys after his side's fourth defeat in five league games.

The Cappielow crowd vented their anger at the dug-out after Danni Sanchez, Richie Foran and David Proctor fired Caley to an easy win.

But Irons insisted his troops can turn things around, starting with a win against Raith Rovers on Saturday.

He said: "We can bounce back. But our problem is missing chances at one end and conceding goals at the other.

"We've only scored two and lost 11 so it's not good enough."

Ton carved out a couple of first-half openings but found Inverness keeper Ryan Esson in fine form.

Caley hit back with Jonny Hayes forcing keeper Colin Stewart into a finger-tip save before Sanchez netted the opener in first-half stoppage time.

Moments after the interval Foran beat the offside trap and slotted in off a post to make it 2-0. Inverness continued to dominate and sub Proctor stepped off the bench to seal victory with five minutes left.

Caley boss and Scotland No.2 Terry Butcher admitted it had been been a rollercoaster week but was just happy to get back to winning ways.

He said: "This was vital. They pinned us in after the break and our second came against the run of play."
