NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 13, 2003

 Republican Assembly is hosting a 2004 Election voter kickoff for the public on Thursday, October 16.

The event starts at 7 p.m, registration begins at 6:15 at the Radisson Opryland, at the corner of McGavock and Music Valley Drive. Admission is $10.

Tables will be set up where citizens can register to vote and update voter information such as change of address. Voters may also register to serve as a poll official - ensuring integrity in the voting place.

The Davidson County Republican Assembly is the local chapter of the Tennessee Republican Assembly (www.tnra.org). It works within the Republican Party to achieve common goals and is currently involved in developing the voter base in Davidson County to increase participation in voting for the year 2004 elections. The principles that the organization follows are: support of the US Constitution and protection of the rights granted to all citizens through this document; allowing maximum individual achievement through freedom; maintaining national sovereignty; sanctity of all human life; private property rights; the right to keep and bear arms; and minimizing government barriers to free enterprise.
