Hahn recently announced the appointment of David Rubin as a commissioner to the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles is the public housing agency for Los Angeles, California. It was founded in 1938. There are more than 60 public housing locations in Los Angeles. . Chartered in 1938 by the State of California, the Housing Authority is a cooperative effort with the city to provide housing for low-income residents.
