Mr. Andrews, 58, is a partner and former chairman of the law firm of McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen. He returned to private law practice recently after serving in the public sector for three years as the legal adviser to the U.S. Department of State and Secretary Madeleine Albright. He founded McCutchen's environmental practice and was the chairman of the firm's Environmental, Natural Resources and Land Use Practice Group from 1981 until he left for public service in 1997. Mr. Andrews is also a specialist in arbitration and public and private international law.
