David Powell, Inc. Names William Gerth Director of Client Accounting at Firm's Financial Services Division.

, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 9, 1995--David Powell, Inc., an executive search and financial management consulting firm in Silicon Valley, today announced the appointment of William R. Gerth as director of Client Accounting for the company's Financial Services Division.

Gerth, 47, joins the Financial Services Division from the San Jose office of the accounting firm of Arthur Andersen, LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol  where he had established and headed a practice that provided business consulting and accounting services to start-up companies.

At David Powell, Inc., Gerth will be responsible for managing the Financial Services Division's accounting staff, and consulting with clients on accounting and management issues.

A CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000.  with 20 years experience, Gerth spent a total of 15 years with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Cincinnati and San Jose. He also founded and managed a furniture manufacturing company in Cincinnati, and was CFO See Chief Financial Officer.  of a medical distribution firm.
