David Pillsbury and Joe Guerra Named Co-CEO's of American Golf.

The board of directors of American Golf have announced that golf industry veterans David Pillsbury and Joe Guerra have been named co-CEO's of the company.

The creation of the new Office of the CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  is part of a dynamic restructuring program encompassing a fresh leadership structure and a comprehensive new business plan designed to help the company maintain its position as the world's leading golf operations company.

The Office of the CEO was established to accelerate the exploitation of the numerous growth opportunities within American Golf and the golf industry, and to allow the company to more quickly respond to changes in the increasingly competitive golf management business. Many of the company's important business functions will be co-managed by Pillsbury and Guerra, while others will be undertaken separately. Guerra will focus primarily on Golf Operations and Business Development, while Pillsbury will spearhead the Operations Support functions, Emerging Business Opportunities and corporate Administration.

Pillsbury and Guerra met in 1986 while earning their master's degrees in business administration from the University of Southern California The U.S. News & World Report ranked USC 27th among all universities in the United States in its 2008 ranking of "America's Best Colleges", also designating it as one of the "most selective universities" for admitting 8,634 of the almost 34,000 who applied for freshman admission , and have worked together at American Golf for more than 13 years in a number of integrated operational functions.

Prior to his appointment as co-CEO, Pillsbury served as American Golf's president and chief marketing officer, responsible for overseeing the company's vast marketing and sales organization encompassing national group and direct sales; national food and beverage F&B is a common abbreviation in the United States and Commonwealth countries, including Hong Kong. Guerra was named co-CEO after serving as American Golf's executive vice president. In this capacity he was integral to all aspects of American Golf's operations and growth, and was principally responsible for the organization's worldwide expansion.
