) announced today that David N. Schlesinger has joined Commerce as a Senior Vice President. Schlesinger will be responsible for interest rate risk management, corporate treasury management, and retail deposit pricing.

Prior to joining Commerce, Schlesinger served as Senior Executive Vice President of Corporate Treasury for MBNA MBNA Monument Builders of North America

Schlesinger also managed MBNA's global commercial bank and investment bank relationships and directed a team of 45 treasury professionals.

Earlier, Schlesinger was a Senior Vice President / Managing Director for CoreStates Financial Corp, where he managed bank and holding company funding, investment portfolios, and liquidity management and supervised a department of 30 trading and treasury experts.
