David Mirabito Appointed Vice President, Actuarial & Consulting Services at Sentinel Benefits.


WAKEFIELD, Mass. -- David Mirabito has joined Sentinel Benefits as Vice President, Actuarial & Consulting Services. In this new role Mirabito will oversee the growth of Sentinel's actuarial and retirement consulting practice.

Mirabito has more than 19 years' experience in the employee benefits field, and was previously a Principal and Consulting Actuary at Buck Consultants in Boston. His services include:

--Actuarial valuation of qualified and nonqualified pension liabilities Pension liabilities

Future liabilities resulting from pension commitments made by a corporation. Accounting for pension liabilities varies widely by country.
 

--Retirement, deferred compensation, and capital accumulation program design

--Asset/liability forecasting

--Accounting standards compliance

--Early retirement incentive program design and financing

--Postretirement benefit plan design, accounting and funding

--Actuarial valuations of health & welfare plan liabilities

--Retiree health plan rate determination
