David MacGown Joins Salomon Smith Barney's Corporate Bond Research Department Covering the Insurance Sector.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 22, 1999--

Salomon Smith Barney Smith Barney is a division of Citigroup Global Capital Markets Inc., a global, full-service financial firm, that provides brokerage, investment banking and asset management services to corporations, governments and individuals around the world.  announced today that David MacGown has joined the Firm as a Vice President in the Corporate Bond Research department. Mr. MacGown will follow the insurance sector, reporting to Robert Waldman Robert Waldman is an American composer, musical arranger, and orchestrator.

Waldman has collaborated with Alfred Uhry twice, on Here's Where I Belong, the disastrous 1968 adaptation of John Steinbeck's East of Eden
, Managing Director and Head of Corporate Bond Research.
