David A. Mortimer Shareholder and Advisor to ELAST Technologies, Inc.

ELAST Technologies, Inc., (ESTG: OTC-Bulletin Board) (www.elast.com) announced today that David A. Mortimer will be an advisor to ELAST's Board of Directors.

Mr. Mortimer manages an impressive portfolio of chairman roles and directorships of many large companies including Vodafone, Fujistu, Ci Technologies Group, Petsec Energy, FH Faulding and Co., Leighton Holdings, Adstream Marine, and Sydney Airports Corporation. He was the Chairman and Chief Executive of the international transport company, TNT Limited Worldwide Group, until a successful merger in 1996.

Mr. Mortimer also leads many Australian government projects. He recently conducted a review of national business programs for the Australian Federal Government known as the "The Mortimer Report." Mr. Mortimer is on the Board of the Australian Tourist Commission and the National Transport Council and is a member of the Prime Minister's Supermarket to Asia Council. His background is in banking and finance and he holds an Honors Degree in Economics from the University of Sydney.

Citing Mr. Mortimer's significant accomplishments and successes, Thomas F. Previously, on June 30, 1999, ELAST had announced that Mr. Mortimer would be acting in the capacity of alternate member of ELAST's Board of Directors. That statement was incorrect. Mr. Mortimer will not be serving on ELAST's Board of Directors, but nonetheless as a shareholder and advisor to the Board, ELAST will benefit greatly.
